Lights up or flashes when the TV is on:

A steady green or white on the front of the TV means the TV is turned on.
A green or white light that flashes when you press a button on the remote control simply shows that the TV is receiving a signal from the remote control.
This feature is not available on all TVs. NOTE. Some new TVs have a white LED at the bottom center of the screen. If necessary, this LED can be disabled in the system settings.

Replacing the lamp (for projection TVs or projectors only):

If the lamp indicator blinks, the lamp is burnt out and needs to be replaced.
When replacing the lamp, do not touch the glass surface. If you accidentally touch the surface of the lamp, clean it with an alcohol wipe to remove any remaining oil. Otherwise, the lamp life may be shortened.
Make sure the lamp covers/doors are properly closed and securely latched.
