Setting up T2 in LNR how many channels
Television and radio broadcasting in the LPR and DPR
The State Unitary Enterprise of the Lugansk People's Republic "Company of Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television" has completed a test on-air digital terrestrial broadcast of television channels, now 38 TV channels in digital format are available to residents of the Lugansk People's Republic.
For confident and high-quality reception of digital TV channels in the DVB-T2 standard in rural areas or in settlements remote from broadcast sources located in the cities: Lugansk, Rovenki, Krasny Luch, Stakhanov, Chernukhino, we recommend using an external log-periodic antenna (LPA) and pointing it strictly to the broadcast source depending on your place of residence.
Additionally, we inform you that if there is no reception of some TV channels on digital terrestrial broadcast, we recommend performing a new scan of TV channels on a DVB-T2 tuner.

Setting up digital television
Digital terrestrial television is gradually replacing analogue television, as it has many advantages both in the quality of the transmitted signal and in the number of channels broadcast in digital format. Broadcasting of both analogue and digital cable television occurs via a cable connected to the antenna socket of the television, most often designated as RF on the body of the television receiver.
Let's figure out how to set it up on your TV. First, you need to make sure that the TV supports the required broadcast format. To receive digital cable television, your TV must support the DVB-C standard. You can find this out in the instructions for your TV or on the TV manufacturer’s website.
If your TV does not support this function, you can purchase an additional tuner (receiver) to watch digital television. Be careful, most tuners only support terrestrial digital broadcasting, they are designated as DVB-T or DVB-T2 tuners; to watch digital cable television on our network, you need a tuner that supports the DVB-C format. As a rule, all modern TVs support this format.
Typically, to set up digital channels, you need to enter the manual search menu for digital channels on your TV or tuner, select “Cable” as the source and enter the search parameters. Automatic search without specifying search parameters is not recommended, since it takes a very long time and does not always find all channels.
Parameters for setting up digital channels broadcast by the State Unitary Enterprise LPR “RCC”:
Frequency (or starting frequency) | 186 MHz (186000 kHz) |
End frequency (if any) | 810 MHz (810000 kHz) |
Modulation type | QAM-128 |
Flow rate | 6875 KS/s |
Network search | on (yes) |
Digital stream frequencies (MHz) | 186, 202, 514, 554, 578, 618, 626, 634, 642, 650, 722, 762, 802, 810 |
Attention! Channels are broadcast in "blocks" on each of the frequencies listed above. To fully tune into all provided channels, you must repeat the manual tuning operation for each of the digital stream frequencies.
After the search is completed, 154 channels in digital quality should be displayed in the channel list. For additional instructions on setting up a TV or tuner, you should refer to the documentation or the manufacturer's website.

Attention to T2 digital television subscribers
Dear residents of the Lugansk People's Republic!
In connection with the work on setting up equipment for on-air digital television broadcasting, residents of the republic could have problems receiving TV channels in the DVB-T2 digital format.
For reliable and high-quality reception of TV channels in the DVB-T2 digital format, we recommend using an external log-periodic antenna and pointing it strictly at the broadcast source, depending on your place of residence, and also check your digital terrestrial receivers for support of the Multi-PLP mode.
If the existing receiver still does not receive some TV channels, it is possible to correct the situation by updating the receiver software. At the moment, the following digital terrestrial receivers need to change their software:
- Strong SRT8500 - change software to version 1.67.
- Orion DVB-T2 2660, as well as model 2660 receivers from various manufacturers with hardware version (HW Version) 78161236820650 - change the software to version 7 (if they have an earlier version).
- Rolsen models from 501 and higher are provided with updated software on the manufacturer's official website.
- Software for digital terrestrial receivers can be found on the official websites of manufacturers.
To update the software of digital terrestrial receivers, we recommend contacting specialized service centers; the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Lugansk People's Republic is not responsible for malfunctions of terrestrial digital receivers of the DVB-T2 standard when independently attempting to update the software.
- For the widely used on-air digital receivers Trimax 2012HD, Startrack, Alphabox T24, Oriel 825, there has been no need to change software to date.
Additionally, we inform you that the “Grid” antenna, also known as “Polish”, is not suitable for reliable and high-quality reception of digital TV channels in the DVB-T2 format, especially if you live at a great distance from the broadcast source.
Frequencies and TV channels of digital television DVB-T2 in Donetsk
Our clients are often interested in questions: what T2 channels are shown in Donetsk now, and how to connect digital television to watch these channels?
We heard the question - we answer and try to explain in detail!
Digital terrestrial television in the DVB-T2 standard (among users simply T2) is broadcast from the Petrovsky Television Center in the decimeter range, horizontal polarization. From this you can guess that to receive T2 television you need to configure a decimeter antenna to receive a signal from Petrovka.
But often, to watch television in digital quality, just an antenna and a regular TV will not be enough. Today, many modern TVs already support the ability to receive these TV channels by default, but if you have an older generation TV, you will additionally have to purchase a digital set-top box (TV tuner).
There are a great many models of these set-top boxes and it makes no sense to list them here. I would just like to additionally note that these set-top boxes, in addition to watching digital television, can also have such functions as: watching IPTV, Youtube, streaming video services, etc. That is, your ordinary old TV can turn into a real multimedia entertainment center.
Now let's look at the main question: what channels are broadcast in the T2 digital television package in Donetsk?
Channel 29 UHF (538 MHz)
- First channel
- Russia 1
- Match TV
- NTV
- Channel 5 (St. Petersburg)
- Russia-Culture
- Russia 24
- Carousel
- OTR
- TV Center
- radio channels: Vesti FM, Mayak, Radio Russia
51 channels UHF (714 MHz)
Channel 56 UHF (754 MHz)
- World 24
- Sony Sci-Fi
- Life News
- Moscow-24
- 1st Republican (formerly Donetsk State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company)
- Union TV (Makeevka)
- Novorossiya TV
- Oplot-TV
Channel 58 UHF (770 MHz)
As you can see, at the moment, 34 television channels are broadcast in digital quality from the Petrovsky Television Center. Among them are 29 Russian TV channels and 5 regional ones.

Instructions for residents of Luhansk region: How to set up Ukrainian TV channels (Infographics)
In the Lugansk region, on August 22, Ukrainian TV channels began broadcasting in digital format T2 from a new television tower in the Novoaidarsky district. The press service of the Lugansk Regional Military-Civil Administration reported how to configure a T2 tuner or TV to receive a signal from a new television tower.
To configure T2 tuners and TVs with built-in tuners, just rescan the frequency range (carry out an automatic channel search). If Ukrainian channels do not appear, you should clarify (change) the position of the antenna.
The general position of the antenna should be from the north-west to north-east direction - depending on the location of the signal reception.
To configure you need:
- enter the TV tuner menu and select the manual tuning mode for TV channels (channel search);
- select channel search mode;
- select the 23rd TVK (CH-23). Monitor the intensity and quality of the signal on a percentage scale from 0 to 100;
- in the future, you need to rotate the antenna and observe the signal intensity. Having reached the maximum, you should fix the antenna. Reception will become possible at an intensity of more than 50%;
- click the “Search” button - as a result, you should receive 8 Ukrainian TV channels;
- select 40 TVK (CH-40);
- if the intensity is more than 50%, then click “Search” and receive 4 more Ukrainian channels.
In the UHF range it is possible to tune 1 television channel - UT-1. It is located at TVK 36 (CH-36).
Let us remind you that a new 134-meter radio and television station was put into operation near the village of Bakhmutovka. According to the press service of LugOVGA, the range of the transmitters is 60 km, which will make it possible to provide Ukrainian television and radio broadcasting to the settlements of Stanichno-Lugansk, Popasnyansky districts, the cities of Lugansk, Golubovka, Kadievka (before renaming Stakhanov), Alchevsk, Bryanka, Pervomaisk, Slavyanoserbsky, partially Perevalsky and Lutuginsky districts.
