Visually, Wink over fiber works much worse than TV over 4G from a Beeline on a by no means top-end smartphone. All channels work honestly on the smartphone, smoothly, without jerks or interference. How this is so is unclear. After all, there has never been a speed of 60Mbps over cellular communications. Now I’m trying channels in Winka - almost 4/5 of those hundred either simply don’t load, or load after a minute of waiting, or they go so jerkily and out of sync with video and audio that I want to never turn it on again. You can watch the rest, but the jerks and lags are wow. In general, I do not recommend it at all. One good thing, I think I tried it for free...

Today I want to write about a solution to a problem that I encountered myself a month ago. Namely, remote termination of the contract with Rostelecom. I read a lot of reviews from their clients who couldn't do this for a long time. About hours-long queues at the office and repeated calls there. About their wasted time and frayed nerves. But I couldn’t find an answer about remote termination of the contract with Rostelecom.
I have been their client for several years, why I decided to stop servicing this company, read in my review “Rostelecom is a blatant deception and unacceptable attitude towards clients. Be careful and careful.”
So, I didn’t want to go to their office and worry myself, after all the negativity. Therefore, I began to look for a solution to the problem.
Let me immediately note that Rostelecom’s equipment has already been purchased from us, in installments over three years, there is no need to hand over anything.
I have a few questions:
- What is needed to terminate the contract besides an application?
- Where can I get the application form?
- How to send all this to the Rostelecom office?
I started looking for answers to them:
- Knowing that termination of the contract takes place at the central office of the city, I found their phone number, called, and asked how to do it. They only answered me personally, giving me the address and opening hours, and I had to have my passport with me. Okay, so the application and passport, I took his photo
- After wandering around the Internet, I found an application form for terminating the contract, it was easy. I printed it out, filled it out, signed it and took a photo.
- At first there was an idea to send everything by registered mail, but it takes 2-3 days, and the addressee may not receive it immediately or not at all. And, inspiration, we live in the 21st century, there is e-mail. I found out the email address of the central office and sent everything.
The next day, a Rostelecom employee called, clarified the reason and said that within 1-2 days the contract would be terminated. After 2 days it was indeed terminated.
I was even surprised that everything went calmly and quickly. Thanks to Rostelecom for this, even though I didn’t lose my nerves here.
RESULT: It’s easy to terminate an agreement with Rostelecom without visiting the office, queues and nerves. Find out the email address of the branch in your city and send a photo of your application and passport to it.
Now, I want to try to give an objective assessment of Rostelecom, as a former client, without relying on emotions. After all, I have been using their services for more than four years.
Like:
- viewing management service;
- technical support service;
- It's easy to reach the hotline.
Do not like:
- equipment often freezes;
- poor level of training of hotline employees and their constant switching “to another specialist”;
- lack of customer focus.
I consider it unacceptable in their work:
- failure to provide responses to complaints;
- deception;
- connection of paid services by default, without informing the client;
- unwillingness to admit mistakes and shortcomings.
And finally, the amount of my dispute with Rostelecom was 400 rubles. The service was activated for this amount without my information or consent. Because of 400 rubles, a large campaign inflated such negativity. For a long time I wondered WHY do they have such a policy and WHY do they need it?
And I came to the conclusion, 400 rubles. from 1 person, from 100 already 40,000 rubles, and from 100,000 people - 40,000,000 rubles, and this is a considerable profit, EVEN FROM DECEPTION.
And I have always believed that a company that has many clients must retain them, attract new ones and constantly improve its quality of service, because there is such competition. Sorry I was wrong.
And regarding the 400 rubles - Rostelecom ignored the claim, did not respond to it, and more than 30 days have already passed, which they designated for consideration. There will be an addition or another review from me about this, apparently “to be continued..”

We were very surprised and still tried to encourage us to stay, since they provide a free modem (working 50/50) and the best prices in the city (which is not true).
In general, I turned it off, returned the modem, and asked what I should do? they said no!! The contract was terminated. Excellent 3 hours of wasted time on everything about everything.
I connected to the Internet from another provider, bought a modem - Working.
After a year and a half, a notice of debt collection arrives!!)) 284 rubles 184 debts and 100 rubles for the services of the debt collection service. I called Rostelecom. - What kind of debt? We canceled the contract, returned the modem, they said I didn’t owe anything!! Your employee said that you don’t owe us anything! It took a very long time to sort things out and transfer employees from one to another.
The answer in general was that they canceled it in the middle of the month and in half a month this amount was drawn up, and they called me, wrote to me, etc. Accordingly, they cannot prove that notices were sent and were delivered. And the proof is an entry in some kind of card that the employee makes.
1. The employee who terminated the contract either lied or is incompetent (or this is a scheme for how to make money on clients. 1 client is 100 rubles and 1000 clients is 100,000 rubles, not bad to make a plan)
2. Modems provided by Rostelecom are of poor quality
3. The helpdesk is not a helpdesk. And the service - reboot the modem))
4. The company transfers your personal data to third party companies. Don’t be surprised if they start calling you from unknown banks, etc.
The company is trying to be modern, but with such approaches to clients it is somewhere in the two thousandths))
If they talk to you politely in the office and offer you tea, this has nothing to do with the quality of the services provided, for which you pay and from which they pay themselves a salary. This is a level of service that has been observed somewhere, but not completely observed. So don't be fooled. There are a lot of companies on the market and Rostelecom is definitely not the one you need. Don't waste your time and money on people who don't care.
At one time I was forced to connect the Internet from Rostelecom because no one at that time had yet installed a line into the house. and I liked their website, but once again - this has nothing to do with the quality of services provided by the company.
