Pause. Need to go to the store, walk the dog, or cook dinner? To avoid missing a program, you can pause the broadcast. Afterwards you can start playback and start watching from the same place.
Archive. It stores records for the last three days. To avoid filling up the servers, the company deletes files after 72 hours. The client will be able to find any program of interest and watch it.
At first. Didn't make it in time for the start of the show? It is enough to use this function, the system will automatically switch playback to the first second of the broadcast.
Record. The option is available for Standard and Premium devices. Regular set-top boxes use 7GB of cloud storage for files. It can be expanded for an additional fee.
Premium models have a built-in hard drive. The recording takes place on the drive, its capacity is much larger. When the memory is full, old files are deleted, but if necessary, erasing individual programs can be disabled.
Instructions for activation:
- You must press the “Menu” key on the TV remote control.
- Then find in the presented menu a section called “Service Management” and log in to it.
- One of the sub-items on the open page will be the “Additional services” item.
- Then you need to open this page by pressing the “right” key on your remote control.
- Go to Manage Viewing and then press the OK button on your remote.

However, this is not the only way to disable this service, because you can also do this through your personal account in the Rostelecom system via a computer or smartphone, which will require access to the Internet.

- Watch any show first. If you missed some interesting program, and no more than three days have passed since its broadcast, then you can find it and start watching from the very beginning. This is done by calling the corresponding menu using the remote control.
- Record any movie or TV show. In this case, you can schedule a recording in advance, before the transmission has yet started. You can record several programs or episodes at once. Each subscriber has 7 gigabytes of space reserved in the Rostelecom cloud for storing all recorded films and programs. If this is not enough, you can increase the space for a small additional fee.
- Archiving programs allows you to access any film or program that was broadcast no earlier than three days. The archive is stored for a month; the company recommends regularly clearing space from old programs that you have already watched.

Thanks to the wide range of options included in the Viewing Control package, Rostelecom subscribers have the ability to independently plan their own TV program at the most preferred time.

- A pause function that allows you to pause a moment on the channel you are watching in order to scroll through the broadcasts of other TV channels. The broadcast is continued by unpausing.
- The first view function, which provides the ability to watch any program shown less than 72 hours ago, or one that has started broadcasting, by selecting the appropriate option using the remote control.
- A recording function that provides recording of a selected TV program that has not yet started. It is possible to record one or more episodes. Each Rostelecom subscriber has the right to count on 7 GB of memory for storing records. In addition, it is possible to additionally purchase the desired number of GB.
- The program archive function, with the help of which subscribers have access to the air of any television program that was broadcast no more than 72 hours ago. Records are stored in the archive for 30 days. It is recommended to regularly delete unnecessary materials to free up archive memory space.
