Please note that the CAID column remains unchanged!

To enter the letters of the code in the column, use the P and P+ buttons, which are located at the bottom of the remote control. You can also select letters using the electronic keyboard.

Be sure to save the completed information by clicking the “OK” button.

To return to the main “Menu” of TV settings, press the “Exit” button.

Each legal card has its own unique address, which is its identifier, something like the poppy address of your DVB card. Its length is 9 bytes and it usually consists of two parts: the address of client groups 4 bytes long (SA - Shared address) and the client’s personal address 5 bytes long (UA - User Address), somewhat reminiscent of IP addressing in the TCP/IP protocol stack .

Observing the headers of the received packets, the card finds the one that has its identifier, and, if it finds it, it performs certain actions: it renews your subscription or even changes its decryption code (which means it receives a new one, or an algorithm for changing the old one, it also happens; again, the eternal problem is that all signals are sent to everyone, until the satellite learns to shoot beams of information, this vulnerability will work for pirates).

One of the most commonly used techniques in cards is to first receive a new code in encrypted form via the air. To decrypt it, use the control key available on the card. Well, then it’s simple: after decryption, the new code is stored in the card’s memory and begins to be used when decoding signals. An important conclusion follows from this: knowing the control key, you can decrypt the transmitted new code. It is precisely because of this that cards that auto-program themselves were sold earlier (although they seem to be still available now), but they have an obvious vulnerability: there must be a legal (i.e., paid for at the TV company) SA in order for an update signal to be sent to this address, and This means that if a television company finds out about a duplicated card, they will easily detect which SA is used in this card (and, consequently, in a large series of cards), and stop transferring keys to this address, and simply issue cards with a new SA to legal subscribers.

Browser plugins

The most convenient and effective tool in this area turned out to be a plugin for Mozilla and Chrome called friGate. The authors of the extension specifically note that there is no loss of speed when using it. It really works “out of the box” and opens pages blocked by any known method, notifying the user of entering “forbidden territory” with just a change in the icon on the control panel.

The speed of friGate is ensured by the fact that it opens blocked sites from its own pre-compiled list. However, this is unlikely to become a problem for anyone: it is replenished as quickly as possible.

Hacking the protocol

This method is very labor-intensive in a technical sense. The process of determining the code consists of recording the exchange protocol between a legal card and a decoder; special programs are usually used, which are very resource-intensive. Obviously, in this way you can get an encrypted and decrypted piece, and then compare them to calculate the decryption algorithm by simple selection. But you understand that the longer the key, the more difficult it is to find it; if you don’t have a specialist on hand, like the main character of the movie “A Beautiful Mind,” then deciphering it can take decades. Although, of course, instead of 1 super brilliant specialist, you can choose thousands of stupid but persistent computers.

Remember the joke: Today, the Pentagon computer was hacked by Chinese hackers: The fact is that each of the 1 billion hackers typed in their password, on the 456,987,456th next guess that the password is the word “Mao Zedong”, the computer decided to agree.

Today on the Internet there are similar both closed and open key selection networks. So here it is: someone is fighting cancer en masse, someone is looking for aliens, and someone is just the key to free porn... anything can happen.

Okay, I’m saying everything here, I’m saying it, and I haven’t told you just one method of how exactly the signal is encoded, well, here are a couple of examples and here I’ll finish this article, although there’s a lot more that could be said about, and even at least how to make an access card, but here everything turns out to be illegal... so here I am, keeping my promise - the two main encryption methods are as follows (note, they are not complicated: after all, the processor power of the receiver is limited, but very effective, because they do not limit the length of the key, and therefore many implementation options):

1. The TV signal frame is divided into blocks (for example, 32 lines each) and in each block the lines are rearranged in a chaotic order (Nagra Syster system in NTV+).
2. Cut each line in half at a random location and then swap the halves (Eurocrypt and Videocrypt).

When are federal channels encrypted?

Like any company that provides access to television services, Tricolor has a set of channels that should always be available. The list of these channels is defined by law, although each company tries to reduce it within its capabilities. It includes at least First, Russia1, Culture and a dozen more frequencies.

If a message about encoding appears on one of these channels, there is some kind of failure that occurred with the operator. In this case, you should contact. The contact center number – 8-800-500-01-23 – is available around the clock, and calls to it are not charged by telecom operators.

Instructions for decoding the receiver

Most often, the coded channel message appears as a result of activation codes failure. This can happen for various reasons. Sometimes the operator himself is to blame for lost activation keys. In some cases, the problem is caused by some kind of hardware error.

Reset keys can also occur if the set-top box has been left turned off and unused for too long (a week or more). Activation commands are updated from the satellite automatically during operation of the receiver. When the equipment is idle for some time, no update occurs, therefore, the set-top box cannot gain access to broadcasting after that. In any case, decoding Tricolor TV channels here will involve re-obtaining activation codes.

How to update activation commands?

The easiest way to update activation codes is to turn on the equipment and leave it for 3-8 hours on one of the encrypted channels. Most often it is recommended to switch to the Kinopokaz channel, but this is not important. As soon as the satellite moves to the subscriber’s region of residence, activation codes will be automatically sent to the receiver and broadcasting will be restored. This typically takes about 3 hours, but the operator states that the procedure may take longer. Therefore, there is no need to panic earlier than 8 hours later.

What to do if there is no automatic update

If the previous option did not help, and activation commands were not sent automatically, you should request them yourself. To do this, you need to go to the subscriber’s personal account on the Tricolor website. In your account menu there is a “My Services” tab. By clicking on it, the subscriber will see data about the status of their subscriptions, and below them a red button “Request activation commands.” You must click on this button and then repeat all the steps described in the paragraph above.

Smartphone applications

The most obvious and simplest solution for iPhone and iPad users turned out to be the Onion browser, which works through the Tor onion routing system (The Onion Router), the traffic in which is almost impossible to track. The only thing required from the user is $1 for the universal version for all Apple platforms.

In practice, Onion is an outwardly unremarkable browser that allows you to open any blocked sites. It is suitable as a closed tool that does not affect the operation of the rest of the system. For Android there is an analogue called Orweb.

If you want to bypass blocks without using a third-party browser, then you should try TunnelBear. This service is available on iOS, Android, PC and Mac and uses VPN technology.

It is noticeably more difficult to launch it on mobile platforms than Onion. On iOS, it first asks you to register, confirm your email, install a profile with VPN settings, enable its profile in iOS options, and only then start working.

But, unlike Onion, TunnelBear allows you to pretend to be a user from another country and use the services of, say, the Netflix service.

The main disadvantage of TunnelBear is the price. In the free version of the application, only 500 megabytes of traffic per month are available, and annual unlimited traffic will cost 979 rubles (and this is only the price for iOS devices). You can't call him friendly at all. On the other hand, it has versions for iOS, Android, PC and Mac: the last two are very easy to use.

Another decoding instruction

In some cases, receiving activation commands does not help access encrypted channels. Here you can try to perform more serious operations.

Important! It makes sense to use the methods described in the article if the encoding message is issued by a channel that was previously available. The methods given here are not suitable for viewing channels and packages that are not connected to the subscriber.

Changing settings

So, if simply updating the activation codes did not help decode the equipment, you can try the following steps:

• re-set all operating parameters;
• reboot the receiver by disconnecting it from the network for 5-10 minutes;
• re-request activation codes;
• Leave the set-top box turned on on a coded channel for 3-8 hours.

Rolling back settings usually allows you to restore access to TV broadcasting within 1-3 hours. But the operator’s website states a longer period, in order to avoid any kind of failures on the satellite. Therefore, you should wait at least 8 hours before contacting technical support for help.

Important! If the described methods do not help, there is only one way out - contacting the Tricolor operator itself or the dealer from whom the equipment was purchased.

Outdated receiver

Since 2021, the operator Tricolor has changed the broadcast format from MPEG2 to MPEG4. In this regard, large-scale campaigns began to replace client equipment with new equipment that allows receiving video in an updated format. The operator disconnects outdated equipment from broadcasting independently. As a result of this, a message about channel encoding appears. Is it worth reflashing the console?

Some subscribers, trying to save money on connecting paid channels or time to replace equipment, turn to the services of specialists who promise. And those who are a little familiar with programming sometimes try to carry out such operations on their own by downloading pirated software from the Internet. The network is full of sites that provide firmware that supposedly gives unlimited access to satellite TV.

How useful is such software and can the promises be trusted? It's difficult to say for sure. Perhaps some programs can really help you watch all channels for free. However, you will also have to spend money on purchasing such firmware. And their installation will be regarded as a violation of the contract with the satellite operator, that is, as an illegal act.

How does the subscription connect?

Decoding methods using home equipment

Channels can be decoded using a tuner with an emulator or by installing the program on your home PC.

How to decode channels on a tuner with an emulator

1. Having connected to the first available channel, go to the emulator by typing a combination of numbers, which changes depending on the tuner firmware version;
2. In the emulator window that opens, click on the Key Edit line and go through the BISS item (translated as encoding);
3. To change the key, highlight the selected code by pressing the remote control button (red) and change the numbers;
4. To enter a third-party code, press the green button on the remote control. Next, enter the channel frequency in the Freg section, its identifier (Serv id), and later the Key Data itself. This information is available in the BISS list. Click on “Ok”;
5. Now Exit to the control panel to complete the decoding work.

How to decode a digital channel using programs

To decode your favorite channels, download the following software from the network:

• Free version of ProgDVB;
• Softcam Server 1.2.2 (a utility that is used to download keys and decryption methods);
• SoftCam.Key (text document with keys)
• Plugin MDYankse1.32.1TT.

The ProgDVB program is installed on your computer. The Softcam Server1.2.2 utility is installed, which is additionally configured by editing the ini file:

1. The path for installing the keys is indicated - SoftcamLocation=с:\ProgDVB;
2. ServerMode = 0 is specified. As a result, the application will be automatically updated every time it is opened;
3. ManualMode=1 is specified. This is necessary to save files without confirmation;
4. The file names with keys are entered: Keysfile Name = Easy, Softcam Name = Softcam, Keybin Name = Keys.

At the last stage, the Yankse1.32.1TT plugin is installed by unzipping it into the directory with the ProgDVB system.

Free channels in ProgDVB will be marked by the plugin with green checkmarks, blocked ones with red checkmarks. The LM mouse clicks on the channel that should be decoded. Waiting for the result is about 5 seconds.

Decoding using official cards

You can also decode the desired channel using the provider’s official card. Of course, in this case you will still have to pay. However, there is a simple way to significantly reduce spending.

Decoding TV channels using cardsharing

As you can see, decoding a channel encrypted in the BISS system or another similar one is a fairly simple process. However, providers, of course, are aware of all such user tricks and often protect themselves by changing keys very often (sometimes once every 15 minutes). To watch such programs, they usually use the services provided by cardsharing providers. This is done as follows:

1. On the Internet, they find a supplier who has purchased an official card with access to channels;
2. Next, the order is placed;
3. The service is paid for.

The supplier, using special equipment, connects to the server and distributes keys to a huge number of users, while dividing the subscription fee among everyone. As a result, you have to pay a very small amount per view.
