In 2021, Tricolor’s subscriber base, according to its own data, amounted to 12.2 million users. These data correspond to the analytical assessment, according to which in the third quarter of 2021 Tricolor was in first place in terms of the number of subscribers. It is followed by Rostelecom (10.3 million subscribers) and MTS (3.8 million). According to the results of the third quarter of 2019, TMT Consulting estimated the total number of pay TV subscribers in Russia at 44.8 million households. In terms of revenue in the third quarter, the leader was Rostelecom (36% of the market), Tricolor's share was 18% with a total market volume of 25.5 billion rubles.

Owned by Gazprom-Media, it produces and distributes thematic channels. The most popular of them is Kinokomedia, which broadcasts foreign and Russian films. The daily reach of this broadcaster, according to Mediascope for January-July 2021, reached 1.1 million residents of large cities over four years of age. The coverage of other channels does not exceed 951 thousand people per day.

In 2021, Tricolor did not renew the contract with the family of Discovery Group channels (80% owned by the National Media Group). As for all other problems, they may be the following options:
