Equipment not registered

ID (identifier) ​​is an individual subscriber identification number in the Tricolor TV system; it is a combination of 12 or 14 digital characters that can be found on a smart card, in a contract or on the back panel of the receiver.

If your receiver is registered in the system, you will see on the next page the message “The specified ID is already registered” and information about your subscriptions. If not, then you will need to fill out the following fields:

  • Model of receiving equipment;
  • ID number of the receiver (on the smart card itself, on the back panel of the receiver, on the packaging, in the contract);
  • Passport details of the subscriber for whom an agreement was concluded with Tricolor;
  • Service registration address;
  • Your phone number.

Save the entered data. But that is not all. Now you will need to activate viewing. To do this, follow two more steps:

  1. Turn on any channel on the receiver.
  2. Leave it in this state until the image appears. This can happen after 8 hours of continuous operation of the set-top box (or after 10 minutes if the equipment is used for viewing via the Internet).

You can only leave the satellite receiver on, and you can turn off the TV. Most often, setup takes from 2 to 3 hours, but if the network is overloaded, the process of downloading new data and its hardware adaptation will take longer.

No information about subscriptions

Another reason for error 9 in Tricolor TV is the lack of information about the subscriber’s subscriptions. If your receiver is registered on the network, but there is no information about connected channels on the subscriptions page in the user’s personal account, then perhaps you simply have not activated the television package.

  1. Go to the page
  2. Enter the ID number - 12 or 14 digits without spaces or extraneous characters.
  3. Click the “Continue” button.
  4. If everything is correct, proceed to filling out the registration form.
  5. Fill in the “Receiver Serial Number” field. If you don't have this information, it is acceptable to leave it blank.
  6. “Receiver model” - indicated on the front panel of the receiver. Select from the proposed list.
  7. We do not fill out the “Dealer Information” field if we register the equipment ourselves.
  8. “Equipment installation address—enter the address through a search by zip code or locality. If necessary, you can use the advanced search. IMPORTANT! The address must be located in Russia.
  9. “Subscriber data” (full name) - enter in Russian letters strictly in the nominative case.
  10. Passport data - series, number are indicated together, without spaces: for example, 4007775421. We also indicate the date and place of issue.
  11. “Contact information” - enter 10 digits of the mobile operator and receive a confirmation code to complete registration. The password for the user’s personal account is also sent to this number.
  12. After completing registration, click the continue button.
  13. The “Custom Code” field appears. Here we enter the smart card data - the individual code is located on the reverse side.
