Error code 17 also occurs due to various software failures in the coding system. However, such problems do not mean that you need to immediately call technical support and call a team of specialists to carry out repairs. In most cases, you can get rid of the problem yourself.

Add the Social Club folder as an exception to your antivirus program.

Change your nickname on Steam

As strange as it may sound, changing the Steam username and using it without any special characters has solved the problem for many players. Please note that the name you change is what other users see in you and may search for you. This is not your Steam account name.
