Wi-Fi Direct technology operates equally on all TVs that support the Smart function and are also equipped with a Wi-Fi module. This option is also supported on modern mobile phones. The main task is to connect devices with each other without the need to obtain an access point. Recognition of a mobile phone by a TV occurs in the form of a multimedia device.
Note! To properly connect your smartphone to your TV, you need to enable Wi-Fi Direct mode, and select Share mode on the TV.

DLNA Server
In this method, we will use a third-party application from the Play Market DLNA Server. To connect a smartphone to a Smart TV receiver, both devices must be on the same home Wi-Fi network.
If the conditions are met and the required application is installed, do the following:
- open the software, make a new DLNA server and give it any name;
- enter SSID – the name of your Wi-Fi network;
- go to the Root section, select and mark the folder that you need to view;
- return to the main menu, select the created server and turn it on with the “Start” button;
- in the settings section on the TV, look for the “Video” item, there we find our server, select it and see the folder that we noted earlier. In it, select any file and open it.

What problems may arise
- The plasma panel does not see the flash drive - the reasons for this problem may be the following: the device may not turn on due to a breakdown or due to incompatibility of systems. In this case, you need to determine in which file system the device operates; to do this, you need to insert the drive into the computer, open the “Explorer” file, select “Properties” and select the desired device. If the system type is NTFS, then it is formatted to FAT32. And the failure of the drive is determined quickly; if the personal computer does not see it, it means that it has failed.
- The TV initializes the drive, but the files do not—the equipment does not support the format in which the video materials were downloaded. It is recommended that you read the instructions to find out what parameters are needed to view video from the drive. And download material only in the format that the plasma panel supports. There are also many different programs and applications that can be used to convert files into the appropriate type of format.

What is needed to connect TV to mobile phone
DLNA is the most common wireless standard and is intended for most TVs. In this case, TV devices must have a Wi-Fi connection function.
Note! Owners of Android smartphones should use the special BubbleUPnP application so that they can transfer music and photos from their mobile phone to TV.
Comparing Miracast and Airplay, DLNA content display quality is not very good. This application is designed to transfer music, photos and other media files. In order to perform the steps correctly, step-by-step instructions are provided:
- Initially, you need to select the HOME option, and then you will have to select “Network” - “Wi-Fi Direct” - “Enable”.
- Next, the user goes to the “Wi-Fi Direct Settings” section.
- Select the TV name displayed on the TV screen with the Wi-Fi Direct device.
Method #2: YouTube broadcast
YouTube is the most popular video hosting site. It is most often used to watch videos, but recently progress has stepped forward and made it possible to use it to synchronize several devices with each other.
This function will be available if the TV is equipped with a Smart TV - such a device already has YouTube. This application is already installed on many mobile devices; otherwise, it can be downloaded from the Play Market.
To use the application as an intermediary between your smartphone and TV, you need to follow the instructions:
- Launch YouTube on your smartphone. Select any video you like from it and launch it.
- As soon as the video starts playing, you will need to click the wi-fi screen icon (the rectangle with the wi-fi icon in the upper right corner). This icon will be active if a TV with Smart TV is turned on nearby on your phone.
- After activation, a search for a suitable TV device will be carried out. If there is only one, then the contact will be made in a matter of seconds and the video that was launched on the mobile device will be played on the TV screen.
- If there are several TVs, then you will need to independently select the appropriate one from the list.

Method number 4: mobile applications for synchronization
Special applications have been developed to wirelessly connect a smartphone to a TV. They are based on the process of duplicating or mirroring on the TV display what is happening on the smartphone screen.
