Sony PSP-3000 differs in appearance from its predecessors, it has a new body coating, fingerprints are not visible on it, because it is made of matte plastic, the company logo has been moved to the left side, and the trademark and brand name has been moved to the HOME button. Some buttons are made in the shape of an oval, the chrome ring located on the rear panel has become thinner and more elegant.
Main characteristics of the SONY PSP 3000: processor frequency 333 MHz, RAM capacity 64 MB, 4.3-inch screen, 1200 mAh battery for four hours of operation, supports Memory Stick Pro Duo memory cards.
How to connect Sony Playion 3 to TV
The third generation gaming console from the Japanese brand Sony supports almost all popular wireless communication standards. However, to set up synchronization of the set-top box with the TV, you will have to use special cords. The quality of the picture and the features of connecting equipment largely depend on the cable used by the user.
To understand how to connect a Sony PlayStation 3 to a TV, no special knowledge or skills are required. The mechanics of the process boils down to connecting the plugs into specially designed connectors. The main task is to choose the appropriate interface. To do this, you need to carefully examine the back panel of the TV for accessible connectors. Based on the results of the visual inspection, a final decision is made.
Let's carefully consider the most common interfaces, some of them are found exclusively on new TVs, while others, on the contrary, are found mainly on older devices.
Via HDMI cable
Definitely the HDMI channel is the optimal way to synchronize the console with the TV. Of course, the set-top box supports connection to equipment from various brands. The manufacturer is not of fundamental importance. This interface is good because it provides fast data transfer without loss of quality. Therefore, the image is displayed on the screen in the highest possible resolution. Sound and video are transmitted through one cable.
Almost all new products in the television segment are equipped with the interface in question. Therefore, there should be no problems with synchronization. Of course, before you connect your PS3 to your TV via HDMI, check whether it is equipped with this connector. Mostly all the ports are on the back panel, but sometimes on the side.
In most cases, an HDMI cable is immediately included in the basic kit from the manufacturer. However, there are exceptions. The first revisions of the set-top box are sold together with other cables. In any case, users will save on purchasing a cable. An image with Full HD resolution will be broadcast through such a cable.
If you don’t know how to connect a PS3 to a TV, proceed according to the easy and understandable step-by-step algorithm described below:
Everything is set. You can now launch your console to start playing. The whole process takes no more than 2-3 minutes.
How to Play PSP Games on TV
Using the video out jack on the PSP-2000 or PSP-3000 (also called PSP Slim and PSP Brite) and an AV cable, you can play games on your PSP using your TV as an external display. Obviously, the graphics quality doesn't improve with a larger TV (in fact, depending on how big your TV is, it might even look worse), but it can make some games with very small elements work (we're thinking of LEGO Indiana Jones here )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) ))) easier on the eyes. And it's just great to be able to play PSP games on a much larger screen.
Here's how
- Connect your PSP to the AC adapter or make sure the battery has enough charge for the amount of time you'll be playing.
- Connect the AV cable to the video out port on the bottom of the PSP (this is the only port that the end of the cable fits into).
- Connect the other end of the AV cable to the corresponding ports on your TV. A component cable will have five color-coded plugs for insertion, while a composite cable will have three.
- Turn on the TV and select the desired input. This depends on your TV model, so if you're unsure, check your TV's user manual (or you can select the input by trying the ones available while your PSP is on and set to output video).
- Turn on your PSP. Once it's fully launched, press and hold the display button on the front of your PSP (it's the button with the curved rectangle that looks like a TV screen). The PSP screen should turn black and the normal PSP display will appear on your TV screen.
- Insert the UMD game into the PSP UMD or memory card into the memory card slot (if you haven't already) and go to the Game using the PSP buttons as you would. going to play the game on the PSP screen.
- Find the game in the Game menu and press the X to start the game. You will use your PSP's buttons to play the same as if you were playing in normal mode. Think of the PSP as a console and controller, and the TV as an external display.
- When you're done playing, save your game as usual. Press and hold the display button again and the screen image will disappear from your TV and reappear on your PSP. Disconnect the cables from your TV and PSP.
tips
- If you plan on playing a lot of games on your TV (or watching a lot of UMD movies) and your TV has multiple inputs, you can leave your AV cable connected to the TV and just plug in the PSP end when needed.
- A display button with a rectangle shaped like a television screen, typically used to adjust screen brightness.
- Please note that the video output will not work on the PSP-1000 series (also known as PSP Fat).
What you need
- PSP (2000 or 3000 series model)
- PSP component or composite AV cable
- TV with matching AV inputs (to match your PSP cables)
- An AC adapter for your PSP is a good idea, but not necessary.
- Game (on UMD or memory card)
Difference in connecting Playion 3 and Playion 4
The connection mechanics themselves are not particularly different, but it is worth considering that the fourth generation Sony game console is not equipped with the old interfaces: RCA, AV, S-Video, etc. The emphasis is placed specifically on using the HDMI connector. Of course, the situation can be solved by purchasing the appropriate adapters. However, not in all cases they will work correctly.
For example, the HDMI-VGA converter discussed earlier does not support PS4. Therefore, you must first check with the store to see if the selected adapter is suitable for the console. Why won't my PS3 connect to my TV? Mostly the reason is that the user has not made changes to the signal source. Therefore, be as careful as possible. Be sure to make sure that all plugs are connected correctly.
Of course, HDMI synchronization is the simplest and most effective connection method. This interface provides simultaneous transmission of audio and video signals, as well as transmission of images in maximum resolution.

How to fix the problem
Initially, make sure that the equipment is connected correctly and that the cables and inputs are intact. And also check the parameters:
- In the settings, in the “Channel” tab, select the “Cable” type.
- In the country section, select yours or select “Other”.
- Set the frequency range to 298,000-362,000 KHz.
- In the search parameters, put “Digital or analogue TV”.
How to connect and configure digital channels on a Denn set-top box
Don't forget that the lack of television broadcasts is not always due to faulty equipment or system failure. Providers often carry out maintenance work, but they are usually carried out at night. If the equipment is in order and the settings are correct, then contact the television company and inquire about the problems.
How to connect to a monitor and output sound to speakers
Well, what if there is no TV? What then? Then you can connect the PS3 to the monitor and if the monitor does not have built-in speakers, output the sound through the tulips to regular speakers or an optical cable to higher-quality speakers.
It remains to figure out the sound output if the monitor does not have speakers or a 3.5 mm jack output. There are two more ways to output audio separately:
These are the simplest and most understandable ways to output images from ps3 to various sources, which are accessible to almost everyone. Remember, it is better to purchase a cable or adapter than to break the set-top box.
How to connect PSP to computer via USB: 2 methods
You can quickly update your collection of games, video or audio content on the PSP quite simply: using a USB cable or via a flash card. The methods are simple, but it’s worth understanding each one separately to avoid connection problems. How to properly connect the PSP to a computer via a flash card or USB port is described below.
There is no sound in the game, but there is sound in the menu. What to do?
If there is still no sound, you can try a different HDMI cable. If this does not help, then try outputting the sound through the “tulips” or digital output, as described above in the chapter “How to connect to a monitor and output sound to speakers.”

Why can't I tune in digital channels on my LG TV?
If after auto-search the device does not detect digital channels, then it is likely:
- The parameters indicate the wrong antenna type.
- Incorrect antenna location. Point it towards the repeater.
- A system failure has occurred.
- There are problems on the broadcaster's side.
- The cable is damaged or the equipment is not connected correctly.
First, let's look at the procedure for setting up channels, and then study common problems.
Wirelessly connect your console to your TV
Good day to all! Perhaps I'll start right away with a question:
1. Is it possible to connect a console (such as PS3, PS4) wirelessly to a TV with video and audio output?
2. If yes, then in what ways?
PS The TV is wall-mounted, and the console is on the table under it, the whole picture is spoiled by wires, it’s not beautiful.
No duplicates found
Wires are ugly, but lags and compression artifacts are beautiful?
On topic, don’t connect at all. Let the console serve as a decorative element. No need to play. I have a dead laptop lying beautifully as a stand.
Wireless. My eyes(((
Type into Google: “hdmi wireless”
That is, it’s not worth offering to make a false panel on the wall?

“To hell with modesty!” How to set up networking even when it's not set up
The ability to make useful contacts is an important part of the skills of a modern entrepreneur.
Many people have already learned how to approach interested speakers at a business event. But how to unobtrusively remind about yourself afterward is still a problem for many. Stephanie Sword-Williams, entrepreneur and author, in her book "Damn Modesty!" tells how to competently engage in networking at all its stages. With the permission of Alpina Publisher, which published this book, we are publishing key recommendations from it. YES: Network on Social Media
Most networking events end up on social media. And through photos, tweets, and hashtags, you can find useful people, add them as a friend, follow them, and introduce yourself by sending a message.
The message doesn’t have to be long, it’s just a reminder of how and where you met, and if you managed to establish some kind of personal connection then, remind them of that too.
Moreover, we are talking not only about invited speakers, but also about the public. This doesn't have to sound like harassment - you can simply write a short message: “Saw you at the seminar, it was great, wasn't it? It’s a pity we didn’t talk, I hope we’ll see you next time!”
Simple and unobtrusive, but now this person will know: there is someone with similar interests who may be worth considering as a participant in future contacts.
NO: wait to be found
At the end of the D&AD festival (an international creative industry event that features inspiring TED-style talks and award-winning work), I was so shocked to hear from Patrick Collister, then Google's creative director, that I needed to get his contact details.
Therefore, after the performance, I approached him, expressed my delight and asked if he would become my mentor. I didn’t expect such courage from myself. He gave me a business card, within 24 hours of the meeting I emailed him, and the next week I was sitting at Google headquarters admiring the London skyline.
But would he have found me otherwise? Would you look up my LinkedIn profile and offer your time to help me advance my career? Of course not. How can you expect people to find you and offer you what you need in life if you don't let them know about you?
- That day I asked for mentorship, but I could have asked for an introduction to someone or even a new job. If I had not asked for anything that day, I would not have received anything.
Always remember: sometimes you can have a great conversation with someone, but it will lead nowhere. And not because the conversation was unpromising, but because you did not take the necessary actions after it. So set yourself the goal of “making the most of” all your existing acquaintances.
YES: quickly write personal letters
The sooner you send the person an email, the better. As long as you are not erased from his memory, it is more likely that he will not forget you and will include you in his priorities.
When crafting a compelling post-meeting email, here are four things to keep in mind.
- Introduce yourself and cast your bait
. On the first line, include your name, position, and the reason why you are writing this letter. Now it's your turn to hook and break through.
- Indicate your status
. Include a link to your website or LinkedIn profile in your email so you can understand your status and get an immediate look at your work.
- Write about something memorable
.
Mention something you did in response to the request that shows how serious you are about your job. For example, in my cover letter to the employer, I indicated that I danced with Lorraine Kelly ( British TV presenter - editor's note
) on the set to support a common cause, and helped break the ice during a photo shoot. Not that it was my job to do that, but it showed that I was willing to go the extra mile when needed. What have you done in your career to demonstrate dedication? - Always offer action
. Please, please, whatever you do, don't end your letter on a passive note. Offer a meeting, say that you will remind you in a couple of days, ask to set up a time to call. Write what the person will need to respond to. Don't let your letter disappear into thin air just because you ended it with the phrase "Waiting for a response." You might as well end with “Don’t bother answering if you’re busy.”
NO: ask permission
We certainly suffer from impostor syndrome in our work environments, and it manifests itself even more strongly when we are seeking or already interacting with more senior people.
When I was working at a startup that was just starting out, I worked with Adam Graham, the founder of Gray Matters, a business development consultancy. He explained to me how important it is to communicate with the people you want to interest on an equal basis. We understood that since we were a startup, no one knew anything about us, and this, albeit subconsciously, influenced how we presented ourselves and in front of whom we were shy.
Adam gave us a much-needed boost of confidence: he told us we shouldn't ask anyone for permission. On the contrary, we need to communicate as if we have legal rights in this conversation.
So if you find yourself slipping into Oliver Twist-style begging, stop—and start speaking in affirmative sentences. Below is a list of common phrases that people say when they are not too sure of their position, and ways to say the same thing, but more convincingly.
- I would be honored if you would consider me... Better - I can see that you value craftsmanship, and that's great because that's what I'm proud of...
- Would you consider... Better - That would be a great opportunity...
- I would really appreciate it if you would take the time... Better - I am reaching out to the leaders in this field...
YES: Be assertive in your communications.
I know how painful it can be to not have the answer you want—or any answer at all—when you really want to connect with someone. But, unfortunately, such is life: everyone has their own affairs and fate does not always favor us.
Don't give up after the first letter; after all, we don’t reject friends or family because they don’t call back right away, right?! I understand that no one likes to seem intrusive, so I want to share the advice that a colleague gave me - a simple rule of three messages:
- Acquaintance
. The first letter is a detailed description of who you are, what you do and what you are asking for. Of course, with a proposal for action.
- Polite continuation
. With the second letter you clarify whether the addressee received the first and remind you of your request.
- Last chance
. Remaining polite, you send one last letter before abandoning this idea. It might sound something like this: “I’m writing again to see if you’re interested. If not, I will contact you in the coming months." The third letter changes the rules of the game. It works because it creates scarcity, making it clear that you and your offer will not meekly wait for the right moment if this opportunity is not taken advantage of now. And if there is no response, put the recipient in a separate contact list or in a special folder and set a reminder to write to him again in six months. Let him not think that he is rid of you forever!
Tip of the day
. Sometimes, instead of sending follow-up emails, it's better to call for a change. Who knows, maybe the recipient did not receive the first letter or may share additional information that is not always possible to transmit in electronic format.
NO: Cut off contact because the recipient did not fall at your feet after the first attempt
It's easy to write someone off, especially after they've ignored three letters in a row. But I beg you: don’t cut from the shoulder. Yes, ignoring you so many times in a row is rude. But if you're not the main priority in his life, you need to learn not to take it personally.
Don't take failure as a permanent stigma. Believe that someday this contact will help you if you regularly announce yourself so that you are remembered first.
YES: make the relationship permanent
The best way to make the most of a new contact is to build an authentic relationship. Simply put, invest in him as much as you would in a friend.
I really love the story about the guy who wanted to do business with Lloyds Bank, so every two or three months he showed up at their office, which was two hours away. He invited a bank representative to lunch and returned home with nothing. He did this for several years, and eventually Lloyds Bank appointed his company as lead creative agency, investing heavily. He later sold the company and moved on - but what dedication! During all this time, he showed himself to be trustworthy, reliable and talented. He earned his stars and (eventually) received his reward.
Not everyone can afford to regularly treat their contact to lunch, but there are other ways to build relationships with people that are less expensive, but very valuable. Even the simple regular exchange of posts, likes and comments on the Internet, demonstrating that you support the person in one form or another will contribute to an ongoing relationship.
NO: make it clear that you only want one thing
If we don’t immediately get what we want, we often lose interest in the person we asked for it. And believe me, it's noticeable.
If you only reach out to others when you need something from them, you will quickly be found out. It is important to take a consistent and comprehensive approach and use the examples above to build ongoing relationships. Just as easily as we recognize those who waste time, others see right through those who act only for their own purposes.
Instead of a conclusion
As you might have guessed, I am very passionate about networking. First of all, because it radically changed the life of the young northerner I was before. I am not saying that it is only suitable for a certain age, class, gender or social status; it helps to acquire the necessary long-term mutually beneficial connections.
People too often feel lonely, whether they work for a company, freelance, or run their own business (for example, because not all of their close friends live nearby). It is impossible to predict when having or maintaining connections will change your life. So be open to new things and make networking as much a priority as other ways of self-improvement.
