What does the AKADO provider offer to its clients and how to connect its services

Reviews about AKADO

Advantage: the Internet is quite stable. Disadvantage: there are a lot of advertisements. I pay properly and everything works! I can’t single out anything specific; I like both the Internet and television. I cry relatively little, but my head doesn’t hurt about any problems. I am always confident that when I return home from work I will find the Internet turned on and the television working. Over the course of two years, they once switched off from 12 to 16:00, but they warned about this. Since I was just at work, I don’t even know if they really turned it off. So the provider is simply top!

Akado are thieves. Not only that, you can reach technical support after 40 minutes of listening to music. Not only that, in four years of communication with technical support, the cases when they called back, as the girl accepting applications promised, can be counted on the fingers of one hand. So now they waited until I used the Internet for 4 days in November, and then said: “Your house is no longer serviced by us, but since you had traffic in November, we will not return your monthly fee for November. Go to another provider, and we’ll keep your 900 rubles for ourselves.” People! Don't mess with Akado!

Akado service quality. The speed corresponds to that stated in the contract. Any problems that arose were resolved quickly. Technical support is professional, patient and ALWAYS friendly. I've been using it for over a year. Completely satisfied. (And this is not an advertisement) It’s just a nice human attitude. Good luck to all.

The speed is not enough, but the service pleases. I've been using Akado for 4 months now, I switched to a new tariff of 2200. In general, the speed is according to the contract. But in the evenings it’s better to do housework or watch TV. The brakes are terrible, but the company’s employees are responsive and correct, which makes me happy.

Advantages: relative stability, reasonable prices, good internet. Disadvantages: the master does not come, disrespect for regular customers. I have been an Akado subscriber since 2006. Together with TV I paid about 500 rubles. The Internet speed was something like 43, there were never any problems with the signal, very rarely it was turned off for technical reasons. The TV left much to be desired, the minimum package of channels (2 identical channels each (Ren TV), Orthodox and other slag (STS and the like), they cut off everything possible, even Euronews). The signal was often interrupted and the picture froze, but I only have TV for the background, so I didn’t worry about it. I recently moved and Akado offered me, as a regular customer, a new contract at a new TV + Internet address for 600 rubles. per month As I understand it, a Wi-Fi router is free, 400 Internet (with a maximum speed of 100 MB in Moscow) and a TV antenna for 200 rubles. I arrived at a new address after taking time off from work. I waited 1.5 hours, the master never came. I called the support service, they promised that it would be ready soon. The master in the next house was already on his way to me, but then the client asked him to come back and set up a second laptop. So why then did he agree with me at 13:00?! And why didn’t he even call to say that he was very late? After several transfers, I decided to refuse Akado’s services altogether. PS Now I use Wi-Fi from Beeline, 500 rubles. per month (Internet only), speed is about 37, which is enough for me for now.

I’ve been using Akado for 3 years and have no plans to change! And why are there so many negative reviews?! 3 years ago we connected home Internet and cable TV from the Akado provider! We have a normal evening Internet load from 2 computers and a speed of 150 Mbit/s is quite enough. We are connected to Stars HD. For 599 rub./month. Akado provides TV (199 channels), Internet (150 MB/s) + router rental. I think that for such favorable conditions the monthly fee is affordable! For beginners, this tariff is available for 499 rubles per month! I like the functionality of the Akado website. In your personal account, for example, you can find out all the necessary information about your account status or change your tariff plan! Technical support works great and takes calls at any time of the day. Polite managers treat customers attentively and help troubleshoot problems. There were only two interruptions in the operation of the Internet and TV (in 3 years) (and then only short-term). The Internet is stable, enough for 2 computers turned on at the same time. The TV quality is at a high level. The cost of services is adequate.

Tired of constant calls about connection. The only company that, after refusing their offers, still persistently calls and offers its services, even after asking not to call again. They threw leaflets at the mailbox and covered the doors with them. I have lost all desire to be interested in Akado’s services and now I won’t get involved myself, nor will I recommend it to my relatives and friends.

ADVANTAGES: good internet, fast connection, responsive technical support. We connected it for ourselves last summer (2013). Before this, I had read a lot of different reviews, mostly negative, but I was convinced by a friend who had also recently received Internet access from Akado and was quite pleased with it. I don't think I'll want to part with this provider anytime soon. The price of the “Internet + wi-fi” tariff is only 490 rubles per month, provided that Akado is used for 1 year, the equipment becomes my property.

There are quite a lot of negative reviews on the Internet about the work of the AKADO provider - more than positive ones. According to the ratings of independent sites Otzovik, irecommend and inetme, only 30% of users recommend this company. However, it’s up to you to decide whether to connect to the services of this provider, depending on whether you consider these disadvantages to be significant and objective.

Preparing the TV - updating the firmware

Before installation, it is recommended to update the TV program; the necessary files and instructions can be found on the official Philips website.

Download Philips TV firmware

You can find an update for your Philips TV on the Product Support page by searching by model number. For example, for model 32PFL5604H/12 it would be:

https://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=32PFL5604H/12&slg=RU&scy=RU

The software update can be downloaded as a ZIP file; you need to unzip the autorun.upg file, write it to a flash drive and insert it into the TV.

Setting up a router via DHCP Server

After connecting the router, you need to go to its settings. First, you need to find out the main IP address for your router; it is usually indicated in the manual, either on the label of the router itself, or on the box from the router.

Example:

After you have found out your login details, go to settings.

Open the browser, enter the address in the address bar, in my case it is: https://192.168.1.1

Next you need to enter your login and password, in my case it is adminadmin

After which the web interface will open, I’ll show you using the D-Link DIR-300 as an example:

Click Manual Internet Connection Setup, everything may be different for you, the point is that you need to find the WAN settings.

You need to select the connection type to Dynamic IP (DHCP)

We do not specify a DNS server, MTU = 1500. Then we save the router settings by clicking the Save Settings button. Configuration in Dynamic IP (DHCP) mode is now complete.

is a television/communications service provider that is expanding widely within large cities such as Moscow or St. Petersburg. The provider uses modern technologies and standards in customer service, due to which it earns more and more positive reviews. Today we will look at how to set up an Akado router by connecting to Docsis technology, since not every new subscriber can do this without instructions.

Delivery set and appearance

We received the Akado Box in the usual company with a power adapter (5 V, 2 A), a remote control, an HDMI cable 1.5 meters long, a mini-jack - 3×RCA adapter cable 1 meter long, a user manual and a warranty card.
The remote control has a minimum of controls. There is a power button, a mouse mode activation key, a control ring (up, down, right, left), “Home”, “Play/Pause”, “Back”, “Menu” keys, volume controls - and that’s it. There are no digital buttons that allow, for example, to quickly select the desired TV channel, nor voice control. The remote control is made of matte plastic, nice and light. The keys are loud - their click can be clearly heard throughout the room. The angle at which the set-top box receives the signal without problems is wide, which is good - you don’t need to aim at the device itself.

The design of Akado Box is typical for a modern Android-based media player: the body is entirely plastic, with a matte finish on the top and bottom and a glossy finish on the sides. An external Wi-Fi antenna is built into the right side edge; it is non-removable and tilts 180 degrees. On the opposite side there are ports for connecting external drives (micro SD and two USB 2.0). At the back there is a power input, S/PDIF, LAN, HDMI and AV connectors. On the front there is a status indicator and an IR signal receiver. On the belly there is a sticker with the serial number and MAC address of the set-top box, as well as a recessed reset key.

Hardware

According to Akado Telecom, Akado Box is based on the development of the Smotreshka Box prefix. Outwardly they are truly identical. According to the AIDA64 diagnostic utility, Akado Box uses a RockChip quad-core processor, an ARM graphics chip and Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) OS.

The Broadcom AP6330 wireless module supports 802.11a/b/g/n standards, two frequency bands 2.4/5 GHz, as well as Bluetooth 4.0. In addition to Wi-Fi, the set-top box can be connected to the Internet via Ethernet 10/100 Base-T.

“On paper,” the set-top box is capable of decoding 1080p video up to 60 frames/s, with H.264 and H.265/HEVC codecs – up to 30 frames/s, including 4K resolution. We will tell you below how this works in reality.
