Do not neglect replacing cables; quite often updating these products not only quickly saves the situation, but also has a positive effect on the sensitivity of the equipment to voltage changes.

After checking the physical connection and adjusting the settings, you need to turn off the receiver, unplug it for 15-30 seconds and turn it on again.

If there is still no sound on some channels, then try the following steps:

  1. Turn on the set-top box.
  2. Pick up the remote control and go to the device menu.
  3. Click the "OK" button and go to the "Settings" section.
  4. A window will appear in front of you in which you need to enter the access code (if you have not changed it, then simply press the number 0 4 times).
  5. Start a new channel scan.
  6. After finishing your search, save the updated list.
  7. Now you need to go to the “Channel Organization” section and use the “OK” button to go to the editing menu.
  8. One by one, select those channels with which audio broadcasting problems arise (using the “OK” button) and delete them (using the “I” button).
  9. Exit this section and return to the Settings section.
  10. In it, find the “Manual Search” subsection and start the manual scanning process.
  11. Save the new channels and exit the menu.

Broadcasting of all channels should resume.

Please note that when scanning channels manually, you must have the correct settings:

  • "Network search" - enabled;
  • “Transponder frequency” - 12,226 or 12,225 (H/L);

Tricolor does not work, the channels do not show, what should I do?

Tricolor channels may not be shown either for technical reasons that we discussed above, or problems may arise on the part of the operator (or an oversight by the subscriber). In such cases, the channels are not shown and the message “No access” or “Scrambled channel” appears.

There can be two options for lack of access. The first is when the inscription appears only on some channels, but most work properly. The second option is when they do not show any channels at all (including free ones) except information ones.

Let's consider the first case. Only some channels do not work. What can be done?

The first solution would be to launch an auto-search for channels. Perhaps they just changed their broadcast settings and you need to find them again. If, after updating the list, the necessary channels have completely disappeared, then most likely they have disappeared from the tariff schedule. Check which channels are available with your subscription. They may no longer be included in your package.

If the channels still remain in the list, but continue to display the “No access” message, try simply restarting the receiver - turn it off and on. This often helps.

If the Tricolor satellite antenna stops working unexpectedly, and switching channels does not produce results, there has been a failure in the broadcast or the equipment has failed.

If it is at the same level and exceeds 65%, the broadcast is operating normally and all equipment up to the receiver is working properly.

The problem is greatly simplified and you only need to check three devices.

  • TV. You need to make sure that the physical channel corresponding to the connector to which the television is connected is turned on (usually HDMI or DVB-S2). If everything is correct, you should connect an over-the-air antenna to it. If the show starts, the TV is working properly.

If there is a complete absence of channels, you need to re-set the settings for the converter and scan the programs. If this does not help, it is recommended to call the Tricolor provider about changing the operating frequency for the satellite, because in rare cases this practice is appropriate.

If you discover that only a few channels are missing, you must make sure that the paid package under the agreement with Tricolor has been extended. They may have been disconnected for non-payment.

  • AV wire. If the above options do not help, the only option is a faulty wire through which the image or sound is output. You can verify this by connecting the antenna cable from the converter directly to the TV, and ATV programs will begin to be shown. You need to change it to analog (new RCA or hdmi wire).

Why doesn't Tricolor show free channels?

In the second case, when no channels other than information are shown at all, the solutions will be different.

The first thing to check is whether the subscription is active. This can be done in your Tricolor TV personal account.

If the subscription is active, but access to the channels does not appear, you may need to update your activation keys. A request for reactivation can be made in that personal account. Next, reboot the receiver and leave it on one of the channels. The TV can be turned off. Check the signal over the next 8 hours. He should appear.

Another reason could be a simple error when installing a smart card. This can be understood if there is no receiver ID on the screen. No signal

If the receiver detects insufficient signal level, a more complex problem occurs.

The reasons for the lack of signal can be grouped into two categories:

To find out for sure that the problem has arisen locally, just connect the cable coming from the head directly to the TV. Checking for problems on the user's side
The first thing you need to do is look at what signal level is observed at the receiver.

If a value in the range of 15% - 25% is recorded, the cable is faulty. Such numbers are typical when you turn on the TV with a nearby receiver that is not connected via cable. It needs to be replaced with an analogue one with a resistance of at least 65 Ohms.

When the value of the recorded signal is below 10%, but not zero, the satellite antenna converter is faulty. In this case, it is better to contact Tricolor hotline consultants. External factors

If it is discovered that the value of the recorded signal is more than 30%, but insufficient, the signal does not reach the antenna at the proper level.

There are two possible reasons:

  • The plate moved away. In case of strong wind or weak fasteners, over time it could be displaced from its original position. It is necessary to return its position by smoothly moving it until a sufficient signal is found.
  • There are obstacles. Most antennas include a Sirius converter with horizontal polarization. Perhaps the antenna was installed too low and now there is an obstacle in the path of the electromagnetic wave (for example, a multi-story building is being built). You need to raise it a little while maintaining the current direction.

If there is a situation where the receiver shows 0%, this indicates a malfunction of the satellite or the set-top box itself.

In the first case, regular work may occur with the equipment, about which you can obtain information from the Tricolor provider.

If it reports that there is a signal from the satellite, the receiver displays the information incorrectly. This problem occurs when the device’s firmware is faulty and a software update is required.

Inscription on the screen “No access” or “Scrambled channel”

This problem can be solved by identifying the cause.

On all channels except information

  • First you need to clarify the activity of your subscription. This can be done in the following ways: in the TV receiver menu, on the official website (section “Payment”) or in your personal account.
  • If the subscription is active and the problem is not resolved, then you will need to update your activation keys. A request to resend the keys can be made in your personal account. After this, the receiver must be rebooted and left on one of the channels that is not accessible. The TV itself can be turned off. It takes no more than 8 hours for the signal to arrive.
  • Another reason can be identified by the absence of an ID code on the TV screen. The ID may not be displayed because the smart card or conditional access card is not installed correctly in the receiver. To check this option, in the case of a smart card, you need to take it out, reinstall it and restart the power supply. A power reset is sufficient for the access card.
  • If the ID does not appear on the screen, it means that the receiver has stopped reading the card. The solution may be to contact customer service.

Only on some

  • go to the main menu of the equipment;
  • select the “System” section;
  • go to the “User Interface” subsection;
  • find the item “Hide the list of channels in radio mode”;
  • set the found item to “No”.

The smart access card is not installed correctly.

The card number (also known as the ID number of the receiving equipment) should be displayed on the screen. This is 12 or 14 digits. On some receiver models, the indicators may be lower, this does not mean that they require a different signal level, they just have a lower scale.

It is possible to accurately measure the level and quality of a satellite signal only with the help of a special device, so sometimes it is impossible to do without calling a specialist.

Before performing any actions with the plate, make sure that there is no debris, leaves, snow, etc. on it, and that it is not raining heavily, there are no lead clouds hanging over, or similar natural phenomena. Sometimes it is enough to simply clean the plate carefully or wait for the weather to improve. If everything is fine with the weather and nature, you can try to adjust the antenna yourself. Slowly move the plate while simultaneously monitoring the state of the scales. As soon as the scales are at the proper level, fix the antenna.
