Kazan completes reconstruction of SKPT in apartment buildings

Restoration of collective television reception systems (CCRT) has been completed in more than 3,000 apartment buildings in Kazan.

Work on modernizing SKPT in the Republic of Tatarstan was started on the initiative of the Republican Ministry of Information and Communications and RTRS.

An agreement on cooperation in this area was reached during a working meeting between the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and RTRS General Director Andrei Romanchenko in 2011.

In 2012, out of 12 thousand apartment buildings in the Republic of Tatarstan, 5,589 houses (47%) had SKPT.

However, their condition was assessed as unsatisfactory.

At the same time, the design and construction of new apartment buildings was mainly carried out without compliance with paragraphs 4.6 and 4.7 of SNiP 31-01-2003, which provide for the installation of antennas for collective television reception during the reconstruction and construction of residential buildings.

Today, SKPT networks are being restored in all 12 cities of the republic.

The SKPT consists of an antenna on the roof of the house and a distribution system throughout the apartments.

There is no subscription fee for using SKPT.

It is replaced by monthly payment by owners of apartments in multi-apartment buildings for the maintenance and technical operation of SKPT as common property.
