- From the list of options, select the version of Kodi you are using (for example, Krypton).
- If you just need repositories, choose the fourth option. If you want the full SuperRepo, click on " AllButton.
- Click on the SuperRepo zip file located in the folder named "superrepo.kodi.krypton.all-0.7.04.zip»
- Wait until you receive a successful installation message in the top right corner of the screen and return to the menuInstall from repository».
- You will now see SuperRepo in the list of available repositories for installing add-ons!
Method #1 - Adding a repository using a link (URL)
The first type of repository is the one we add by adding a new URL to the list of repositories. Once you add the link, the repository will appear in the list of additional sources - all you have to do is enter them and a list of all add-ons for download will appear. This is the easiest way to add repositories.
An example of such a repository is SuperRepo. There are over 3,000 unofficial plugins that allow you to add new features to KODI. We can find here plugins such as:

When on the SuperRepo page we go to the “Install” tab, we will notice that the URL needs to be added to install the repository “ https://srp.nu” in the list of repositories. How to do it?
Launch KODI and go straight to the main menu by highlighting the System . Additional tabs for this option will be displayed at the bottom - select “File Manager” .
A File Manager window will appear - on the left, select the "Add Source" to add a new repository to the KODI database.
At the top you have to enter the repository URL. In turn, below you enter any name for this repository. In our case it will be:
- URL: https://srp.nu
- Name: SuperRepo
Click OK to confirm adding the repository.
And that's it - the database has been added and you can now download the plugin. To do this, go to the "System> Settings> Add-ons" . The add-on installation menu will appear - select the Msgstr option “Install from repository”.
A list of installed repositories is now displayed. “SuperRepo” database we added . Select SuperRepo from the list and wait for all plugins to load.
You can now browse all the plugins available in a given repository and download them with one click. If you download, for example, a video plugin (such as TVP.pl), it will appear in the Video > Video Plugins . After selecting it, a menu of this plugin will appear, which will allow you to view, for example, movies or series available on the TVP VOD website.
How to install SuperRepo Kodi on Jarvis version 16 or lower
- Launch the Kodi V16 application.
- Click on “ System ” and select “ File Manager ”.
- Select the Add Source option located at the bottom.
- Double click on " Nobody" Option to enter a URL.
- Enter https://srp.nu/, name it SuperRepo and click OK.
- Return to the Home screen and tap " System ".

- Select the SuperRepo repository from the list.
Installing the Kodi SuperRepo repository
The first step to installing SuperRepo is very simple. We need to tell Kodi where to find the storage zip file. You can either save it to your computer or download it directly from Kodi, and we'll show you how below.
Saving SuperRepo Locally
First, open your browser and enter “https://srp.nu” into the address bar, without the quotes. Click on the version of Kodi you have (Helix is Kodi 14.2, Isengard is Kodi 15, Jarvis is Kodi 16, and Krypton is Kodi 17), then click on everything on the next page and finally click on the ZIP file name on last page.
This will download SuperRepo. Make a note of the location you saved it in because this will be important in a few minutes.
Failed to connect SuperRepo Kodi Failed to get directory information
The most common problem when adding a SuperRepo source to Kodi is the following error: “Could not get directory information.” It always appears when you try to click OK when adding a source. You can add it regardless of the error. However, this will not allow you to access the list of Kodi add-ons in the repository.
Solution
To resolve this issue, check if your internet is working properly. Often, Kodi cannot connect to the Internet sufficiently. As a result, it may not be able to retrieve information from the original URL. Make sure you have a fast internet connection to ensure a successful repository installation, and check that you are entering the source URL correctly. There should be no spelling errors. What are pluggable repositories?
Repositories are simply databases of available downloadable plugins. A plugin repository can be thought of as the Play Store on Android. This is simply where we download applications/plugins. However, on Android, not all apps are available on the Play Store, so we also download apps from other sources or from other stores (such as Samsung Apps Store). Similar to KODI - we do not see all plugins in the official repository. The solution is to add new repositories where thousands of unofficial plugins are visible, add new features or offer more music and movie services.
SuperRepo Kodi cannot install add-ons
You have successfully installed SuperRepo, but are facing a problem installing add-ons. Often, an add-on may complete the loading process and then show a "Failed to install mismatch" error. You can try installing other extensions, but the problem remains. This makes using Kodi quite a hassle as you cannot install any add-on.
Solution
If you encounter a problem installing addons from SuperRepo, this is a clear sign that the source is broken. This happens to every repository during server maintenance or other troubleshooting work. It is important that you be patient and check after a few hours. Otherwise, you can always use the old trick of installing addons directly from their zip files.
Release of Kodi “Matrix” 19.2 from 08/10/2021
It's been exactly half a year since the 19.1 release was released, and in the intervening months, many issues have been identified and resolved. In view of this, the developers are probably late with the official release of updates, so without further ado, let’s see what’s in the latest release 19.2 “Matrix”.
You can install 19.2 directly on top of your existing version of Kodi—in fact, it will do so automatically on many platforms—but if in doubt, back up your user data first. This is a minor update, so on the vast majority of platforms there will be no changes to database versions or anything like that.
The exception is obviously Xbox, as this is a major update for you (from version 18.9 to version 19.2).
I successfully updated my media center on Kubuntu 20.04.3 LTS and Kodi 19.1, which I assembled and described in detail in the series of publications “KODI: putting together a convenient and functional media center for the home” to version 19.2. I did not find any problems or malfunctions in the operation of the add-ons. Among the add-ons I use PVR IPTV Simple Client, Elementum, Burst, YouTube.

- The 10-bit swap chain is used by default on Windows 10 systems when an HDR display is detected (for 8-bit SDR video sources too)
- Fixed a possible crash related to WS-Discovery when "non-computer" devices (such as IP cameras) are connected to the same network
- Fixed a possible crash when turning HDR on/off from external display settings in Windows 10
- Fixed missing image or incorrect black level in some video drivers when limited range output is enabled in combination with DXVA2 hardware acceleration and HDR

- External storage volumes are not visible on devices running older versions of Android
Xbox Features
The big news is that Matrix 19.x is finally available on Xbox!
- Fixed crash when playing 4K HEVC video due to low memory
- GUI was rendered at 1080 and upscaled to 4K instead of native 4K
- 4K resolution was incorrectly displayed in magazines as 1920x1080
- Crash when enabling "Toggle display refresh rate on start/stop" feature at 4K resolution
- HDR video playback does not use tone mapping by default
- There was no display refresh rate information in the Video Debug Info (Alt+O) OSD menu
- SSL Internet connection did not work due to missing path to CA certificates
- Improved swap chain performance using DXGI_SWAP_EFFECT_FLIP_DISCARD
- 10-bit swap chains are used if an HDR-capable TV is detected (even for 8-bit SDR videos)
- Improved HEVC DXVA2 decoder performance when using a 128-byte aligned decoder
SuperRepo Kodi Zip File Download URL

- Open Kodi and go to the Add-Ons Menu.

If you've been a long-time Kodi user, you've no doubt added dozens of repos and plugins through the internal file browser. If you're new to the platform, however, it can be a little overwhelming. Don't worry—installing Super Repo, or any repository for that matter, is quick and easy.
- Start by entering the Kodi 17 settings menu by clicking or tapping the gear icon in the left menu. Here you will find the internal file browser needed to add repositories and other third-party plugins.
- Select File Manager, then click or double-click Add Source and select the None box to open a text box.
- Login “https://srp.nu” as shown in the box using Kodi's built-in keyboard.
- Give the name "SuperRepo" to the new repository. Click "Okay" to add the source.
Now that we have downloaded SuperRepo, we need to install it. Kodi makes this unnecessarily complicated, but the steps are simple when laid out for you. Return to the main Kodi screen and select Add-ons from the menu on the left. Then select the packaged item (it looks like an open box) in the top left corner of the screen.
Select "Install from zip file", scroll down to "SuperRepo" in the list of zip files and select it. Select "krypton", then "all" and finally select "superrepo.kodi.krypton.all-0.7.04.zip". (Note that over time the zip file may have a different name and additional SuperRepo builds are removed, but there will only be one zip file in the directory and it will be easy to determine which file you need.) Click OK and the SuperRepo files will be extracted from the zip archive.
Now we need to install the files in Kodi. Select "Install from Repository" (right above "Install from zip file"), then click "Super Repo All". A whole list of add-on categories will appear; You can explore these add-ons at your leisure, but for now select "Software Add-ons" and then "SIMTECH WIZARD". Select Install and the add-on will be installed!
