It was the purchase of a SIM card for a cell phone, and then it went on as usual. I installed internet at home and still don’t regret it, since interruptions are extremely rare. When a 32-inch TV appeared in the house, I began to become interested in digital television. I chose a tariff on the website and left a request to the specialists, and within three days they brought me a set-top box, set it up and showed me how to use it. My tariff has 200 channels and the whole family is happy, and we only pay 460 rubles a month. They offered additional services, but we refused, since this was quite enough. I connected both the Internet and Rostelecom television at once.
There are no complaints about the work. First, I filled out an application on the website, then the girl called me and clarified all the nuances. The installers arrived without delay and the entire job took them 2 hours. They showed and explained everything, left instructions and contracts. I was not happy with the problem-free work for long. Within a month, the television stopped working and, as it turned out later, the set-top box was broken. The service engineer himself came to my home to pick it up, took it for repairs, and two days later I picked it up in working condition. I connected it at home, but after a couple of hours the same thing happened again. In the end, they changed it for me and an unpleasant aftertaste with all the running around remained, but this is a matter of marriage and no one is immune from it. Another disadvantage I can highlight is the difficulty of dialing Rostelecom technical support. I have to wait for a very long time, and my mobile operator drops the connection after 20 minutes. I read previous reviews and, despite the presence of negative ones, I still decided to go. I hope that the management will punish the craftsmen who promised to come on one day, but arrived 3 days later. All this time I had to do without a TV, but I got used to it and it was difficult. When they connected it, I figured out the settings myself, although I am far from all this. The image quality is good, but if there are problems with the TV, then there are problems with the Internet. Perhaps they have all this connected, I don’t know. It can take hours to get through to support, the phone's battery is running low and your nerves are on edge, so be patient, guys. I have already tried many offers on the Internet, so, having changed my apartment, I decided to try Rostelecom. I arrived at the office because I didn’t want to wait long and signed the contract right there, just don’t forget to take your passport with you. The set-top box is given free of charge, and the login and password are in the contract. I came home and connected and configured everything myself. Everything here is standard and no more complicated than with other providers. I especially want to note the usefulness of the “View Control” function. I paused the TV and went for a smoke. I come back and watch from the same place, and when there is a commercial break, you can simply rewind it. I dreamed about this since childhood and now the dream has become a reality. I can’t add anything more, since I only use simple functions.

But the operator told me that they were most likely just scammers. After a long conversation, I asked to be connected to a senior specialist, but my request was ignored, he did not transfer to a senior specialist, but simply hung up because... I was immediately asked to rate the operator, then the phone call stopped. I called the information service again, but before that I went to the official website of Rostelecom and saw that on the site there is an advertisement for the “Game” tariff; there you can click the “More details” button and after that the price of this tariff is displayed: 520 rubles / month / 800 MB / s (There are no more details there. The screen is attached). This operator began to make jokes, because... WHAT HE/SHE SPEAKED ABOUT IN THE TARIFF DESCRIPTION IS NOT. The operator said that this tariff plan at this price can only be purchased by new clients of your company. He/she never answered the question “Why is this not written down anywhere?” We made an application. And also an application for the first specialist, who did not transfer the call to a senior specialist, but simply hung up, moreover, that specialist spoke to me in a raised tone. I called the information service again on 07/04/201. asked to immediately connect me with a senior specialist. Having told all the details, they gave me a new introduction... old subscribers can also connect to this tariff, but they should not have digital TV connected. I also couldn’t answer the question “Where is this written?” All they can do is apologize. But what's the point of these apologies? At the same time, I corresponded on the official website in the chat. He provided all the information there, but it’s a complete mess there... They don’t give any information, they just write standard phrases, wait a few minutes, etc. and yesterday 07/10/2021 Some of the correspondence was deleted. To this day I cannot get an answer. Your employees are simply making me look like a fool... I wrote these SMS, I saw how they were received (the green check mark was on), but the employees write only one phrase... “we do not delete SMS correspondence.” They cannot answer the question of where some of the correspondence went. Today is 07/11/2021. I called the information service again to inquire about the application. I asked the employee to immediately switch me to a senior specialist. I briefly told him the situation, he asked me to wait a while to review my application. After which he began to talk complete nonsense... That they have a “Game” tariff only for 890 rubles/month. I told him 10 times that there was an advertisement on the official website, told him in detail what was written there, etc. In response, I heard that they do not have such information about the “Game” tariff of 520 rubles/month/800MB/s. Then I asked him why I should wait for some kind of application to be reviewed...if you have an advertisement for this tariff with a certain amount and speed on your official website. The answer he also received was that he did not have such information. After which I asked, then your company is engaged in fraud? but in response I heard from your employee.. “DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS?” Now please explain to me why your employees are making a point that is not on the site (this promotion is valid for 30 days, then only new subscribers can subscribe to this tariff, then it is necessary that digital TV is not connected, or in general they say that this is a scam site. .this phrase just killed me). Everything listed by your employees is not found anywhere on the website (I am attaching screenshots). They say that this tariff is only for Kaliningrad, but all this is a lie. If I can choose my city, and not the region, then I am interested in my city (Zelenogradsk, Kaliningrad region). Why am I being offered to see the area? How are your employees certified or trained before going to work with clients? Why are they not informed and don’t even have the intelligence to go to your official website and look at the information there. But this is half a bid.. I myself provided them with information in screenshots (which I also provided to you) and in order for them to check it (go to the site and see for themselves) they need from 10 to 30 days. What kind of nonsense is this? Do you have 2 people working in the service that deals with applications? WHY SHOULD I WAIT FROM 10 TO 30 DAYS. IF YOU HAVE ADVERTISING ON YOUR OFF.SITE. CLICKING THE DETAILS BUTTON DISPLAYS THE PRICE 520R/MONTH.800MB/s. THERE IS NO MORE INFORMATION THAT YOUR EMPLOYEES LISTED ABOVE TOLD ME ABOUT. ACCORDINGLY, I CAN AND WANT TO CONNECT TO THIS TARIFF PLAN AT THE PRICE INDICATED IN THE ADVERTISING. I don’t want to bring the case to court (I have all the conversations with the operators, I also have screenshots). I can’t attach the screenshots here, but I sent them several times to the Rostelecom website in the chat. The issue has not yet been resolved. although the minimum period of 10 days has already passed. There were no notifications that it took more time (although you just need to go to the site and check the information that Ya. provided). Although the employees refer to the Federal Law “On Communications,” it is written there that if the period is increased to 30 days, then they must notify me. Thank you in advance.

Positive reviews about the quality of Rostelecom’s services are quite common and are associated, first of all, with the low cost of connection and a very attractive range of services.

Having read negative reviews about Rostelecom, we thought for a long time whether it was worth connecting a digital number from it. But they decided to do it anyway. The application was reviewed surprisingly quickly, in just a week. Then they called us and we discussed the day and time. I was pleasantly surprised that the technician arrived on time and installed and configured everything in just an hour.

At the moment, 117 channels are available to us, which is quite enough for us. The picture quality is excellent, it’s nice to be able to watch movies and programs in recordings, and we pay pennies for it.

I have been using the company's services for several months now. I like the terms of use, there seem to be a lot of channels, the quality is excellent, and there are even useful functions, the fee is relatively small. The only drawback is that there are occasional interruptions. At such moments, the broadcast begins to slow down, and sometimes the signal disappears completely. True, after rebooting the console, everything is restored, but it’s still not very convenient. But overall I like it.

Quite often there are also negative reviews about digital television from Rostelecom. Users mainly complain about low-quality equipment, network interruptions, and poor image quality.

I've only been using it for a month and I already want to give it up. Not only is the video quality poor, but the remote control works only occasionally. I changed the batteries - it didn't help. I tried to make a request for repair or replacement of equipment, and also asked to look at the line - I spent almost an hour on this. The master came a week later, looked and said that there was nothing on his part. The equipment was never replaced, and the picture quality became even worse.

I connected and regretted it. Despite the large number of channels, most of them are not interesting to me; the picture quality is periodically poor. It takes a long time to switch channels, with a delay, the remote control only works near the set-top box, and even then not always. Changing equipment didn't help.
