D-COLOR DC1301HD
Advantages:
1. Support FullHD, progressive scan.
2. 40 kilometers from Moscow, it perfectly catches 29 channels with an active outdoor UHF “Locus” antenna, raised to a height of 6.5 meters. 3. High-quality image - without brakes, does not crumble into “cubes”. 4. Quite well-balanced in terms of low-frequency and high-frequency sound through the “tulip” (RCA), although in my subjective opinion it is quite quiet, even at high volume - about half the volume of a regular TV. 5. Recording TV shows according to a schedule on a flash drive, USB recorder - but this is rather not an advantage, but a complete disappointment (see disadvantages). 6. Digital radio. There really isn't much to listen to there yet. Only three channels. 7. Bright display with a clock on the front panel. 8. The player supports almost all popular video/audio formats. Disadvantages:
Of course, not without a fly in the ointment... 1. Terribly inconvenient remote control, terribly inconvenient button placement. As one of the reviews put it, “the remote control is an aiming club.” I completely agree. To change the channel and adjust the volume, you have to get almost close, pressing the button ten times. You feel like a sniper trying to hit a target. I don’t know about support for HDMI control, it would be more convenient to control it from my TV remote control. 2. It seems as if everything, from the console itself to the firmware, was assembled in a hurry. Inconvenient on-screen menu, poor instructions, poor support. The on-screen menu was clearly translated by elementary school students; there are so many grammatical errors and inconsistencies. By the way, the company’s website also cannot boast of competent texts. 3. After several hours of continuous operation, the teletext magazine stops working - it simply cannot be called up by pressing the “TEXT” button. It can only be treated by plugging it back into the electrical outlet. 4. Does not work well with MPEG-4 FullHD 1080p files - after about 40 minutes of viewing, it simply freezes for a few seconds and proceeds to play the next file. FullHD files are often played back by the player with slight brakes (the image appears to be jerky). Everything is fine with television in this regard. 5. Short power cord. Of course, I understand - cost savings, cheaper prices and all that, but, guys, we can’t drive this to the point of insanity. It really doesn’t reach the outlet for me! 6. The included AV cable is bad, thin, picks up interference in the sound. 7. Scheduled recording is not working properly. You make an exact schedule, specify the channel, start/end time of recording, and it will either turn on in viewing mode or record a channel that is not the one you need.
A comment:
In general, this is a crude, absolutely unreliable model. I needed a USB recorder so I could record scheduled TV shows onto a flash drive. That's why I bought it, without looking at the suspiciously low price or the dubious brand name. Now I regret it. I will buy another console, but now it will definitely not be D-COLOR. If you need USB recorder functionality, consider purchasing a product from another manufacturer.

Digital terrestrial receiver D color DC1201HD
Once again I continue to write reviews about digital receivers, set-top boxes and other similar equipment. I love D color and overall it’s not the worst brand on the market. In total, I came across about 7-8 types of D color digital set-top boxes, but today I’ll tell you about the smallest and most simplified version among modern digital set-top boxes.
So the first thing that immediately catches your eye is its very small size, yes, compact, miniature, the size of 4 matchboxes, but in my opinion not practical. The heating area is small and the unit, even though it is not built-in, will not last long.
I won’t describe all the characteristics in detail, it’s all outlined in the instructions, but I’ll tell you about the most important thing.
Pros:
+ Simple menu that even an elderly person can master.
+ Easy setup, more or less clear instructions.
+ The receiver is quite sensitive to a decimeter antenna and I can’t call it weak.
+ The remote control is of good quality, unlike anything I have come across before in such models, and finding it in the event of a breakdown will also not be difficult, since it also fits from other models.
There are more disadvantages and they are more significant:
— Connects only to old TVs via an audio-video input; the manufacturer has not provided any HD outputs.
— Lack of cords for connection, even the cheapest 3 by 3 tulips were not installed.
— There is no output for analog TV, in which case you will have to make wiring and additionally buy a splitter. That is, if you want to watch both digital and regular channels from an antenna on one TV, you will either have to pull the antenna input or think about how to fix the problem.
— There is no display or manual control on the panel.
— There is no USB output, you won’t be able to watch movies from a flash drive either
— The price is not the smallest, from 1500 to 1800 rubles with a significant reduction in the price of the product. During the crisis, of course, everything has become more expensive, but selling something completely empty at such a price is too much.
Unfortunately, I can’t give more than three stars, because for this money you can buy something more decent.
