Instructions for editing channels on World Vision T62N, T62A, T62D, T62M

Editing the list to suit your priorities is necessary to a greater extent if there are a large number of channels in the list, if when receiving DVB-T/T2 the list will not be more than 50 channels, then after searching for DVB-C cable television channels the list may increase by 100-150 channels, and accordingly, for ease of use, you will have to edit the channels to suit your criteria. It is better to edit channels using favorite lists, adding a channel to favorites it will remain there according to your sorting in the desired order, switching favorite groups is done using the Favor or by calling up the channel list, press the INFO and select a channel group or favorite. The channel list editor is located in the Programs , to enter this section you need to press the Menu and use the joystick on the remote control to go to the Programs . By default, in the software for Russia, sorting and logical numbering assigned by the provider in the accompanying stream that the set-top box receives is activated, accordingly, the numbering is used according to the provider’s data. This default menu looks like the screenshot below, sorting the channel list by logical LCN numbering is enabled, the Auto numbering by LCN is enabled.

Under the spoiler there is information why these items for Russian software are always active

Many users are wondering how to edit the general list of channels, I recommend always using favorite lists, since these lists are defined in the software specifically for the user, and the general list of channels is a working list and when searching for channels again, it is possible, or most likely, the sorting will be lost . But if you still need to do this, then first of all you need to disable some items, namely: Sort By LCN auto-numbering - set by channel name LCN auto-numbering On. — set to Off. As a result, you will have the appearance of the Programs as in the screenshot below; these manipulations must be performed immediately, before you search for DVB-T/T2 or DVB-C .

If you have already scanned the list of channels, then go to the channel editor, press the zero button, all channels will be highlighted with a cross for deletion and press Exit , when asked to confirm the actions, we agree. After preliminary changes, we perform a manual or automatic channel search.

We have a list of channels that need to be edited, go to the channel editor: Programs - Channel Editor , look at what functions we have: Move - is responsible for the functions of moving channels through the list. Skip—responsible for the skip marker and hides it from the list of channels. Lock—responsible for parental controls for the selected channel. Delete—responsible for deleting a channel from the channel list database. [info] Group - switching groups, general channel list, DVB-T/T2 DVB-C channel list 0 Delete all - allows the user to delete all channels from the database at once. [FAV] Favorites—add the one selected by the cursor to a favorite group or several favorite groups. [ LAST ] Rename, responsible for renaming functions, channel name or favorite group. On the right side of the screen we have a preview window of the enabled channel, and there are also graphic scales indicating the presence or uncertainty of signal quality.

To move a channel in the list, you need to press the red button, after which the channel is highlighted with a green marker on the right side of the channel list, then you can move one channel

or perform a group move by activating the green button and then move the cursor through the list of channels and select the desired channel by pressing the red button.

To move the selected channels to the desired location in the list, move the cursor and press the OK , the selected channels will be added after the channel on which the cursor was placed. The move will only be carried out after confirmation of the move operation.

Channels are added to favorite groups one at a time; one channel can be added to several favorite groups at once. You can rename a favorite group by pressing the LAST .

You can move between the main channel list and the broadcast standard list in the channel editor by pressing the INFO , the cursor will move to the top of the group name and use the joystick to the right or left to switch the group; to exit the group selection mode, press the INFO .

You can rename a channel by pressing the LAST , a virtual graphic keyboard appears with which you can change the name of the channel.

The delete, skip or sort functions work as standard as in all channel editors:

As a result, we have our own sorting of the general list or the favorite list; the favorite list will build the list of channels in the order in which the channel was added.
