Among the features are reduced power consumption and the presence of a VGA input (you can connect old computers and laptops). The models belong to the budget segment and do not support Smart TV. So this is a suitable option for those who do not want to overpay for “smart” functions, but still want to get a TV with excellent picture quality. In the end, the models cope well with playing multimedia content from a flash drive even without a Smart TV.

H32B7000E is generally the most affordable TV model from DEXP (and one of the most affordable on the market), its price is 15,190 rubles. F40B7000E with a larger Full HD screen will cost you 20,990 rubles.

SmartTV is not digital TV

You may know that in Russia they switched to the DVB-T2 (digital television) standard and many people bought external set-top boxes for their old TVs in order to continue watching TV. So, SmartTV is not about that. DEXP TVs have DVB-T2 support out of the box ; for reliable signal reception, you just need to buy a good external antenna.

But you won’t be able to play games, watch Youtube or surf the Internet from TV. To do this, you will have to buy an external media player, which, as I already said, are sold in large quantities on Aliexpress and in our stores.

The 7200 series has a more interesting design - an original (and very stable) stand, thin screen frames. All three models have Full HD displays, the only difference is in the diagonals. F40B7200C is a 40-inch TV, F43B7200C and F55B7200C are 43- and 55-inch. However, in practice the difference is not particularly noticeable. All three TVs produce a bright and rich picture with excellent viewing angles. There are enough connectors - three HDMI, one USB, as well as D-Sub (allows you to connect an old set-top box or laptop).

After scanning, you must turn off the LCN option in order to use the ability to change the list of TV channels. And very often, because of this option, programs start not with 1 button, but with 800. Therefore, turn it off.

Problem with EDID?

In macOS and Ubuntu there are no problems connecting the TV to the computer. But when I connect the TV to Windows 10, I see this:

Yes, yes, instead of a desktop, I see gray “dregs”. But the whole point is that for some reason the default frequency is 29Hz, although it should be 60Hz. If you set the desired frequency in the monitor settings in Windows, the problem disappears.

The picture quality is again excellent, but the most interesting thing is the appearance of the device. The TV body is thinner than the diameter of a penny coin! At the same time, it is metallic, a pleasant bronze shade (instead of boring black) and will look perfect in company with a gold iPhone/iPad/MacBook. The extremely thin bezel means that the image on the screen appears as if it has no edges. Even the most expensive TVs cannot always boast such a breathtaking picture effect. And in general, the DEXP F43B8000K has a distinct premium design, which you would rather expect to see in a model costing at least 60 thousand rubles. If you like, in appearance it’s just an “iPhone among TVs”!

The software allows you to record programs onto a connected flash drive or hard drive. It is possible to configure TV on/off according to a schedule. Consider the 16A3000 model. How do customer reviews rate this DEXP LED TV? They indicate poor sound quality, which is associated with the installation of low-quality speakers. The volume itself is high. There are also complaints about the image quality. They also have minor “brakes” on the image. They say that not everything is going well with the viewing angle. If you look at the screen not directly, but slightly obliquely, the image begins to darken. There are complaints about the quality of channel reception. Buyers claim that cable, digital, and broadcast have flaws. There are complaints about working with connected devices. So, when playing from USB, some files simply do not open. For example, AVI format compressed using the XVID codec is not supported. During playback, the list of files is displayed in the form of windows with a picture. This is convenient because you can immediately see the title pages.

But, on the other hand, this causes certain inconveniences. The fact is that when moving through the list, the TV begins to show each of them. It takes up to 30 seconds to decode one. Buyers suggest that this is a cheap Chinese product under a Russian brand. They consider the only drawback to be that the manual control of the TV is located on the back of the TV. Individual pixels on the screen can only be seen by looking at it directly. The matrices are chic, with rich colors and maximum viewing angles, contrast - 4000:1. Thanks to the 4-core processor, any video files are played back without the slightest delay.

Channel list management

Found stations can be renamed, assigned a number on the remote control, or deleted. The user action algorithm is as follows:

1. The list of digital channels is navigated using the up and down buttons on the remote control.
2. To sort stations use the red key on the remote control. The active element turns yellow. Manually move the item to the selected position.
3. To rename a station, use the green button. Scroll through the list to the desired position, click and change the name.
4. The red key will help you delete a duplicate channel. They go down (ascend) to the desired element, mark it and remove it from the list.
