• 500 Mbit/s – 999 RUR/month;

Option 2. TV

The cost of connecting to the basic tariff of cable MTS TV using IPTV technology is 160 rubles/month. Payment is made according to the standard principle of credit calculation, applies to individuals, the cost of VAT is included in the fixed amount.

Tariff “Together is not luxury!”

Satellite TV combined with unlimited 4G mobile Internet and speeds up to 10 Mbit/s. Payment is made by the 25th of each month on a single invoice.

The equipment provided includes:

• SIM card for mobile Internet;
• a set of satellite equipment with a complete dish and receiver.

Television is represented by 189 channels, of which 34 HD and 1 UHD quality. Subscription fee – 1,000 rubles/month. The cost of a set of equipment is 2,999 rubles.

Tariff “We’ll return 3,999!”

Conditions provided:

• attachment or CAM;
• 196 digital TV channels;
• As a bonus, when purchasing a tariff plan, MTS returns 3,990 points to your personal account. They can be used to pay for up to 50% of viewing services;
• The subscription fee is 125 rubles/month.

In addition to the basic package, it is possible to connect additional thematic packages, the cost of which is paid separately.

Coverage area

The cable network of the MTS provider is available in almost all cities of the Russian Federation. A complete list of settlements can be found on the operator’s official website.

Important! In some cities it is impossible to connect MTS digital television. These are Polevskoy, Bavly, Donetsk, Aktobe, Bavly.

These settlements do not yet have a comprehensive digital broadcasting network. Only analogue cable television service is provided. However, this broadcast format also offers a much higher picture quality than transmitting a signal via radio waves to a home antenna.

List of required equipment

The list of equipment required to receive home Internet and MTS TV services depends on the method of obtaining it. When providing a subscriber line via IPTV, a TV set-top box or a built-in CAM module is transmitted. They convert the received digital signal, decode it and transmit it to the subscriber’s TV.

Internet access is provided by a Wi-Fi router. It allows you to connect several additional devices via wire (computer, laptop, netbook, tablet, Smart-TV) and “distributes” an encrypted signal using Wi-Fi.

The model and series of equipment transferred to the subscriber may be different.

To receive and process satellite television, a D 0.6 m antenna is used. It is installed by a company specialist on the outer wall of the house. It is connected to a TV set-top box or CAM module using a shielded cable.

The module installed on the antenna receives the signal, transmits it to the receiver, which processes it and plays it on the subscriber's TV.

This type of service is popular in private buildings where there is no fiber optic cable.

Transition from cable to digital broadcasting for MTS subscribers

The transition to MTS digital television is as simple as possible. The user just needs to leave his coordinates in the application on the provider’s official website, in the nearest showroom, or by calling technical support . After this, the company’s specialists will contact the future subscriber. The time of the visit and connection conditions are negotiated.

A company specialist will arrive with all the necessary equipment. His responsibilities include installing a CAM module or HD set-top box, setting up MTS digital TV and briefly instructing the user. All services of the master are completely free. If there are dividers in an apartment or house network or the cable is worn out, a company specialist will make the necessary equipment replacements.

What do I need to do?

First of all, you need to go to the settings section, for which you should press the “Settings” button on the remote control (it is located below and to the left of the mute button, which is located at the top-right).

In the menu that appears, select the “TV Channels” section - in it the subscriber can sign up for additional TV packages and individual channels, and also do exactly what we need - set the order of the channels in the way that is convenient for him, that is, sort at his discretion. To do this, select the “Channel Management” submenu. It is in it that TV channels can be:

• Add to favorites";
• add to “Blocked”;
• set “Access by PIN code”;
• sort as you wish.

To add a channel to “Favorites”, you need to select it using the navigation buttons, press the “OK” button and select the “Favorites” option in the window that appears. It will be available in the “TV Channels” menu section.

In a similar way, the channel is added to “Blocked”. In this case, it will not be shown in the list of channels and in the TV Guide. If you need to watch it, you will need to first remove it from the “Blocked” section in the “Manage Channels” section.

You can also restrict access to any TV channel using a PIN code through the corresponding item in the “Channel Management” submenu.

To set up custom sorting, you need to use the channel switching buttons. To enter the "Manage Channels" section, you will need to enter a PIN code.

Terms of service

Before connecting, be sure to familiarize yourself with the features and main limitations of the offer:

1. Activation of the service is free of charge, without charging any additional commission.
2. If the tariff plan “For tablet” is installed, then the service is provided for 0 rubles, it is included in the starter kit of the contract (at the request of the subscriber). In this case, the operator provides a function with reduced functionality and a list of channels. To get more, you need to install the full version for 300 rubles per month.
3. After registration, you will receive a personal profile in the service. Here you can see the list of available channels and additional subscriptions, which are available for an additional fee.
4. If the tariff plan provides a traffic package, then it is not spent on watching television channels.
5. If there are speed limits for unlimited services, this does not apply to mobile TV.
6. Downloading MTS TV from the provider’s official website does not consume traffic; when downloading from third-party Internet resources, it is subject to tariffs.
7. Outside the Russian Federation, data transfer when watching TV is paid according to the conditions of international roaming. Abroad, access to certain content may be blocked.
8. The service is open for connection on all contracts except “Cool”.
9. The service is available for use only if there is an active access point to the network space.
10. You can install 5 different devices on one account.
11. To view, a minimum speed of 150 kbps is required, and the display quality will be low. The best resolution is achieved at 512 kilobits per second.
12. Users of other cellular companies can activate the service on their mobile device. In this case, payment for use will be made by bank card.
13. If you want to download the utility without activating the option, then enter the USSD code *111*720#.
14. If the “Content Ban” function is available, this does not affect the operation of the application in any way.

Tariff “Extended” MTS TV – description

The description of the mentioned tariff plan is extremely simple, since the package consists of two components:

• standard, basic set of TV channels;
• an additional package that includes 9 channels included in some thematic tariffs.

The provider does not offer anything additional, including radio stations. Satellite Internet is not included in the offer, since the satellite company does not provide customers with services of this kind.

The subscription fee deserves special attention:

• the cost of viewing if paid monthly will be 250 rubles;
• making a payment for the year at once will allow you to get by with 2 thousand rubles.

It is important to emphasize that the amount may increase if additional options are activated.

I have an opinion

I settled on satellite TV from MTS, which attracted a large number of TV channels. I purchased a complete set of installation equipment from an authorized dealer. I didn’t bother with the installation and decided to kill two birds with one stone.

I took advantage of the promotion: I paid for the annual “Extended Plus” package and received the installation as a gift. The craftsmen worked quickly and carefully. There are a lot of available programs, but I don’t use them all. Perhaps next year I will settle on a more simplified tariff.
