Where to point the antenna to receive digital television in the Moscow region

How do I understand that I need to switch to digital, and how to do it?

1. Turn on one of the central channels on the TV. If there is a large “A” next to the channel logo, then you need a transition. If you live in an apartment building within the city and do not see the letter “A”, then you don’t have to worry: your operator will handle all the procedures for converting to a new signal format. If you live in a private house, then you need to buy a special antenna.

2. Now you need to find out whether you need to buy additional equipment. To do this, you need to understand whether your TV supports the DVB-T2 format. You can get a consultation by phone: 8 (800) 220-20-02. If your TV does not support this format, then using the mentioned “hotline” you can find out where and which set-top box is best to buy. In addition, low-income citizens have the right to receive compensation in the amount of 1,000 rubles. To apply, you need to contact your local social security office.

4. Technical support will also help you install and configure the equipment. Pensioners can count on help from volunteer organizations at home. To call a specialist, you must also contact the social security authorities.
